Step 1: Order online

Step 2: Compile your documents
The bank requires a few standard documents to meet its statutory due-diligence obligations – a normal procedure at any reputable bank worldwide.

Step 3: Notarise and apostille the power of attorney
So that our team can open the account in your name, you sign a power of attorney, have the signature notarised and then provided with an apostille. The apostille confirms the authenticity of the notarisation internationally. This step is the time-critical path of the whole opening – start early. Important: the power of attorney is limited to 60 to 90 days and expires automatically afterwards – it serves solely the one-off opening.
Schedule the notary appointment and the apostille close together. That avoids unnecessary waiting and you often have the complete power of attorney in hand within a few days.
Step 4: Opening on site in Tbilisi
With the prepared power of attorney and your documents, our team opens the SOLO account on site at Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi. You stay comfortably at home.
Step 5: Cards, online banking and handover
After a successful opening you receive your VISA or Mastercard debit card by courier as well as your online-banking credentials. From that moment you manage everything yourself and fully digitally – from anywhere in the world.
