Galt & Taggart depot – your securities account in Georgia
Through Galt & Taggart, the investment bank of the Bank of Georgia group, we open an additional securities depot on request. This turns your banking access into a full investment platform: stocks, ETFs, funds, bonds and structured products with access to international and regional markets – also for non-residents, with custody via established international depositaries.
- Personal execution-brokerage depot at Georgia's largest brokerage house (NBG-licensed)
- Access to around 36 markets: US, Europe, Canada, Australia, regional markets and Georgian bonds
- Connection to your SOLO account: cash in the account, securities in the depot
Opening the Galt & Taggart depot via CMC costs a one-off EUR 490; ongoing conditions follow the Galt & Taggart tariff. More on this in our guides Galt & Taggart depot and investing via Georgia. Securities investments are subject to market risk; CMC is not an investment adviser.
American Express – the Amex card in the SOLO segment
Bank of Georgia is the exclusive issuer of American Express in Georgia. In the SOLO segment we apply for an Amex card on request as a premium complement to the regular debit card – with the Membership Rewards programme and benefits such as Priority Pass lounges.
- American Express credit card with Membership Rewards points
- Premium services in the SOLO segment, worldwide acceptance on the Amex network
- A complement, not a replacement for the VISA/Mastercard debit card
Details in our guide American Express at Bank of Georgia. The Amex card is usually a creditworthiness-dependent credit card; issuance and conditions per the prevailing tariff are at the bank's discretion.
What you contribute yourself
Some steps we cannot take off your hands – they naturally lie with you: the notarisation of your signature and applying for the apostille in your home country. The notary and authority fees incurred are not part of our flat fee and vary by country.
Why the remote route is worthwhile
Your own trip to Tbilisi would cost flights, accommodation and several days of time – usually a multiple of the courier fee. The remote route is therefore not only more convenient but, for most clients, also the more economical solution.
State the purpose of the account in the order form. We review your profile after the order and confirm it – that way you only invest in notary and apostille once the direction is right.
